Hopefully Spring will be arriving soon so we can start waking up our plants and adding some new species to our availability list. In the meantime, we are offering until the end of March 20% off on all sundries listed on our Sundries page. We also have a limited number of new square pots available on our Special Offer page.

It's the end of September and what is likely to be the last watering of the year is done but it still doesn't feel like we've had summer. As a season finale, not only have we updated our availability list, we are offering five plants for the price of four on all orders from it until the end of October. We also have a selection of single plants offered for sale on our Special Offers page. The plant in the photo is the plant that you will receive. These plants are not included in the 5 for 4 offer.

What a busy summer it has been so far and there has even been some summer-like days to go with it! Our summer update with over 50 species added is finally here and it includes a number that have been recently described or slow to make it into cultivation: Cremnocereus albipilosus (2017), Notocactus gaucha (2008), Parodia laraputensis (2015). We have also added the two Parodia that Vicky wrote about for a recent BCSS eNews in her article Support Your Local Nursery.

Well, June was a mixed bag but it's been a busy month for us with watering, potting and pricking out seedlings. Our availability list has been updated with a nice selection of new species as well as some returning species.

May has finally arrived but the weather continues to be mixed. The rain, however, has not dampened our growing spirit and we are delighted to be offering for sale a small range of larger plants in addition to our regular ex. 6cm-pot range, which has contributed to quite a substantial update. There are 65 new and returning species being added to our availability list! In some cases, species are only available in a very limited quantity.

12th April 2024
Even here on the south coast, there have been so few sunny days. Our personal collection has only had a couple of light waterings so far but flower buds are at last appearing. The spring sunshine must surely arrive soon! Anyway, this month sees a smaller update of plants added to our availability list, including a couple more Escobaria, Sulcorebutia and Turbinicarpus species. Please be aware that due to family commitments over the weekend 13-14 April, it will be early next week before orders can be confirmed and this will be in order of receipt.

Although the sunshine has been somewhat limited so far this spring, we have been busy potting on seedlings and giving the first light waterings of the season to the sales plants and our collection. Our availability list has been updated with 40 new or returning species and, by popular demand, it is now possible to download our availability list as an Excel form, which you can complete and email back to us to order.

We have added yet another special offer for you! Once in a while, we grow a few other succulents from seed, mainly for fun, and over the last few years Vicky has been nurturing a batch of young Lithops. We are now delighted to offer some of these for sale.

Just how did it get to be October already?! It does mean it is time for our end-of-season special offers: five-for-four on plants and 20% off all pots. Where did summer go?! Its leaving doesn't seem to have stopped our plants from growing, however, and so forty new and returning species have been added to our availability list. Some are only available in very small numbers, so first come first served – sorry! We also have some interesting new special offers to tempt those looking to add some more fraileas to the collection.

Wow, we seem to have gone from a disappointing spring straight to high summer in the last month! Our busy spring of potting has paid off and we are delighted to offer one of the largest updates since we started our website, with over 60 species added. Our plants have been enjoying the recent sunny weather. To celebrate the good weather we are starting our next special offer over the Late May Bank Holiday weekend with some one-off plants for sale. Spring has been a little shy so far, which has caused us to delay our major update until now. We are pleased to have added another 45 species to our availability list, many of which we are offering for the first time. It seems to have been a very long winter but signs of spring are appearing. Our plants have had their first watering, allowing us to do a small update to our availability list. For those of you looking to do some repotting, we are offering 25% off the listed price of pots during April.
